Weight: I'm guessing around 23 lbs
Clothes: 18 to 24 months. It's all about the fit. Her chunky thighs can totally fit into 24 month jeggings but the length is long. Her tops are mostly 18 months, but not going to lie, she could totally fit into 24 month tops too!
Diapers: Size 4
Eating: This child is an eater. Her most favorite thing to do is EAT! She is now taking in anywhere from 24 to 28oz each day. A typical day when she's going to daycare is:
6:00 a.m. - 6 oz bottle
8:30 a.m. - Morning snack at daycare (cereal bar, biscuit, fruit, etc.)
11:30 a.m. - Lunch off the menu at daycare (varies from chicken/rice to pork chop, etc.)
2:00 p.m. - 6 oz bottle
5:30 p.m. - Dinner / 4 oz bottle (sippy cup)
6:00 p.m. - 6 oz bottle
This past month she started eating more like the rest of us. She has one 6 oz bottle in the morning and one 6 oz bottle at night. The rest of the day, she drinks 2 (6 oz) bottles in sippy cups. I've also started introducing her to Organic Vitamin D cow's milk. It totally doesn't phase her - she loves it. Can I just say that I am soooooooooooooooo excited that we will be done w/ bottles/formula forever in another couple of weeks! I might have a special "Club T" night to celebrate! Ha! I can't wait to be done w/ bottles, the bottle dryer and formula forever. Although, the cost of Organic milk between the two girls is probably going to cost us the same as we spend in formula every month.
Sleep: She still hates to nap. She usually has ONE nap every day. Honestly though, it is getting better. She had a 2 hour nap this past Sunday in her crib and it was amazing!!!!! :) She's napping on a cot now at school too! Too freaking cute - growing up so fast!
She is still my rock star at night! During the week, she goes down anywhere from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Since using the "cry it out" method at 6 months, she goes down without a fight. She may cry for a minute or two, but that's it. Gosh, we have learned so much since baby #2 entered this world! It's amazing how many things you change when #2 arrives. Stella has been so content in her crib. Unlike Lottie, who escaped every chance she got!
Crying: Stella....................................... we finally have a breakthrough!!!!!!!!!!!! Stella is no longer crying! Besides the normal hunger and tired cry, she is totally happy and content during the day. Honestly, I never thought I would see the day!!!!!!!!!! Steve and I are so freaking happy. I suppose it helps though that she has become completely obsessed with Lottie and follows her around the house like a dog. She adores her and loves playing with her.
Milestones: This past month has been full of smiles, laughs and very loud little girly screams. Stella is still scooting along!!!!!!!!! She has gotten so fast. She is showing less interest in her toys and more interest in what's going on with the rest of us. If she hears us in another room, she scoots so fast to get to us, especially if it's Lottie. She has also become obsessed with the bathroom! Every time I turn around she is pulling up on the bathtub trying to get in. She starts yelling, "Mama" and reaches for me to put her in the bath. Honestly, she would stay in there all night if you let her. She hates getting out of the bath - full blown melt down every time!
Stella's little personality is really starting to shine! She is going to be a little monster just like her sister. If you tell her to come here, she immediately laughs and starts scooting in another direction! I'm telling you, we are going to have our hands full with these two girls!
In other physical development news, she is not walking and not "traditionally crawling" but she has made major strides this past month. Proud mama!
Stella is no longer using her exersaucer or doorway jumper. All she wants to do is play in Lottie's room or play with her toys. The girls are really starting to play with one another whether it be tea parties, musical instruments, karaoke (xoxo), puzzles, games, etc. Of course, Lottie gets irritated at Stella because Stella usually knocks over everything or eats everything she touches. But it is super cute how their little relationship is blooming. Stella's face lights up every time Lottie speaks. She is her little idol.
We are still at the stage where everything she touches goes immediately in her mouth. I know that won't be changing for a very long time!! This past month I caught her chewing on a leaf! Ugghhhhh!!!!
Finally - we have teeth coming in!!!!!!! All at once too. Two bottom teeth and lots of white shining through on top.
This may sound a little crazy, but I swear her first words have been Thank You. She loves passing toys or other objects back and forth to us and every time she does, she says, "thank you". It is so cute! She also yells, "MAMA" a lot! Now Lottie screams MAMA all the time. No more mommy or MOM, it is mama (so country).
Sibling Love: WOW, Stella loves her sister - obsessed would be an understatement. They play chase, play in the bathtub with one another, share cups of milk and if Lottie had her way, they would nap and sleep together every night . I foresee lots of sleepovers in their near future.
What really cracks me up lately (so bad) is when Lottie really gets in Stella's face or bothers her, she slaps Lottie right upside the head. I tell Stella, "No" but I secretly chuckle. It's only because I have been telling Lottie from day one that one of these days Stella is going to get her and she has!!!!!!! Obviously I don't encourage bad behavior, hitting, biting, etc. but that Lottie has been all up in Stella's face since she was born. It's about time Stella starts to fight back.
Likes: EATING, taking a bath, playing with sissy when she's not poking or prodding her, scooting around, throwing toys all over the house, being tickled, playing peek a boo, playing chase, riding in shopping carts and having her hair brushed.
Dislikes: Being hungry, getting out of the bath and napping

Big Girl Food!! Happy 11 Months!
It's official, my little monkey is graduating to big girl food.
Since Christmas, she has really shown she is ready to self feed. It is getting harder and harder to feed her baby food. She swats at the spoon, tries grabbing the spoon or shakes her head no. So far, I've tried giving her roasted carrots, celery, potatos and chicken and dumplings. She had a few bites of the veggies and potatoes but not nearly enough to fill her little belly. At some point she decided she had enough and started picking up the carrots and throwing them on the floor! :) Awesome! I better accept now that my house will NEVER be clean again!
However, when it came to my slow cooker chicken and dumplings, Lottie went to town. She absolutely LOVES them (Proud Mama). I was so pleased to find something that she really enjoys. I made a batch on Sunday for dinner and Lottie has been eating leftovers for dinner all week. YAY!
This week marked the first week she started trying to eat off the menu at day care. Every Friday we get a menu to circle the food items we give permission for her to eat the following week. The ladies at day care are so excited. They can't wait to get her eating big girl food. Yesterday when I picked her up, I learned that she ate green beans and applesauce for lunch. She did great!!
When it comes to snacking, Lottie's favorites at the minute is a cut up pickle and sweet potato and banana puffs. She loves it!!
It is hard to believe my baby will be a year old in a month. Happy 11 Months babe!! You are getting to be such a big girl!

Clearly, she has not pulled everything she needed out of the box!
