Fall + Farms

I can NOT even fathom the fact that we are already in October.  It truly blows my mind.  This year has absolutely flown by.  I feel like we completely bypassed summer.  I suppose our summer was spent de-cluttering, cleaning and making repairs on our house versus long weekends spent at my sister's beach house. 


With that said, I love everything about Fall.  I especially love taking the girls to farms, festivals, fairs, etc.  You can't beat living in the Carolinas this time of year. 


This past weekend we visited two farms, Hunter Farm and Aw Shucks Farm. 


At Hunter Farm, the price includes a hay ride, petting zoo visit and a pumpkin to take home.  We visit every year.  This year, Aunt Jeanette joined in on the fun!

Lottie loved feeding the animals!  Stella - not so much.  The sheep and goats started, "BAHHHH" and next thing you know Stella is screaming, "BAHHHHHHHHHHH".  She finally came around, but initially they scared the living day lights out of that poor girl!

Aw Shucks Farm

This place is really great!  They have tons and tons of stuff for the kiddos to do!  There are play areas, giant slides, corn maze, petting zoo, paddle boats, games, you name it, they've got it.
